From a mother's love to a global mission
How caring for my child with primary lymphedema sparked a digital revolution in lymphedema management
Five years ago, my son’s lymphedoema diagnosis changed everything. Suddenly, I found myself navigating endless appointments, coordinating with various specialists and searching for answers that were relevant to our situation.
As a UX designer with an analytical and user-centred approach, I came up with this innovative solution after having to deal with the problems of this disease on a daily basis and noticing the lack of adequate resources.
It transforms the management of lymphedema into a continuous wellness journey where everyone is an active participant in their own therapy and every healthcare professional has meaningful data with which to create tomorrow’s treatments.
